Anne Morey is an associate professor of English at Texas A&M University specializing in American silent and early sound film history. She holds a Ph.D. in Radio-Television-Film from the University of Texas at Austin (1998) and has published extensively on film history, American women screenwriters, and children's literature. She is a former president of the Children's Literature Association and has co-authored multiple scholarly works on cinema and children's media.
