i. Biography
Antonino Cannavacciuolo is an Italian chef born in 1975 in Vico Equense (Sorrento), Campania, who has established himself as one of Italy's most prominent culinary figures through his work at Villa Crespi on Lake Orta. Since taking over management of the historic Moorish-style mansion in 1999 with his wife Cinzia Primatesta, he has earned three Michelin stars (first in 2003, second in 2006, third in 2022), becoming one of only 140 restaurants globally with this distinction. His cuisine blends northern and southern Italian traditions, and he has expanded his hospitality empire through multiple restaurant ventures and boutique hotels while maintaining a prominent television presence as a judge on MasterChef Italia and host of the Italian version of Kitchen Nightmares.
