Carlo Cracco is an Italian chef born on October 8, 1965, in Creazzo, Vicenza, who trained under Gualtiero Marchesi, the first Italian chef to receive three Michelin stars, beginning in 1986. After three years studying French cuisine in France under masters including Alain Ducasse and at Lucas Carton, he returned to Italy as chef at Enoteca Pinchiorri in Florence, which earned three Michelin stars. He opened his flagship restaurant Cracco-Peck in Milan in 2001, which earned two Michelin stars and became a center of Italian avant-garde cuisine. Since 2018, his eponymous restaurant Cracco operates in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan and is regularly featured in world's best restaurant lists.
