Christophe Pelé is a French chef born March 22, 1969, in Châtenay-Malabry, who has been Executive Chef at Le Clarence in Paris's 8th arrondissement since 2015. He previously opened La Bigarrade in Paris's 17th arrondissement in 2007, which earned one Michelin star in 2008 and two stars in 2009, and won the Fooding Trophy for Best Chef in 2008. His cuisine is characterized by sophisticated land-sea pairings and technical excellence, informed by apprenticeships at prestigious Parisian establishments including Le Bristol, Ledoyen, Lasserre, and Pierre Gagnaire's restaurant, where he worked under mentor Bruno Cirino at the Royal Monceau.
