Clare Smyth

Clare Smyth MBE is the chef patron of Core by Clare Smyth in Notting Hill, London, the first British female chef to earn three Michelin stars for the restaurant, which opened in 2017. She previously served as chef patron at Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, becoming the first woman to head a three Michelin-starred kitchen in the UK in 2007, and received the World's Best Female Chef award in 2018. Born in County Antrim, Northern Ireland, she trained in kitchens including The Fat Duck, Waterside Inn, The French Laundry, Per Se, and Le Louis XV before opening Core.
