Domenico Candela, born in Naples in 1986, began his culinary career at age 15 as a dishwasher in Eraclea and trained under chefs including Antonio Guida, Stefano Mazzone, Damiano Nigro, and Yannick Alléno before becoming Executive Chef of George Restaurant at Grand Hotel Parker's in Naples in 2018. There, he blends Neapolitan traditions with French and Asian techniques, earning the restaurant its first Michelin star in 2019 and a second in 2024, making it the first two-star Michelin restaurant in central Naples. Signature dishes include Spaghetto Pomo D'Oro, Spaghetti Turbante with lobster or pigeon, and Tarbouriech Pink Lady oyster.
