Emanuele Scarello, born in 1970 in Udine, Italy, is the chef and owner of the two Michelin-starred Agli Amici in Godia, Udine, a family restaurant established in 1887, which he took over with his sister Michela in 1994. He expanded internationally by opening Agli Amici Rovinj in Croatia, earning it two Michelin stars as the first double-starred restaurant there. Named Best Italian Chef of 2013 by Corriere della Sera, his cuisine emphasizes seasonal Friulian ingredients with contemporary innovation.
