Federico Radi

Federico Radi is the Director of Winemaking at Biondi-Santi Tenuta Il Greppo in Montalcino, Tuscany, where he has overseen production since 2017, focusing on Sangiovese Grosso for Brunello di Montalcino. Tuscan-born, he previously worked at Villa Mangiacane starting in 2004 and Isole e Olena, gaining expertise in Sangiovese before assuming leadership at the historic estate. Under his direction, the winery has implemented precision viticulture, site-specific vinification of 12 historic parcels, and adaptive practices for climate change while preserving traditional methods like indigenous yeasts and large Slavonian casks.
