Ferdinand Kretz is the Chef de Cuisine at POTS, the signature restaurant of The Ritz-Carlton Berlin, where he emphasizes classical craftsmanship, precision, and 'honesty on the plate' in modern German cuisine with regional focus. He completed his culinary training at Grand Spa Resort A-Rosa Sylt and held positions at Restaurant Kai 3 Sylt, Waldhotel Sonnora under Clemens Rambichler, led the kitchen at Grapes Weinbar in München, and worked at Restaurant Tantris under Benjamin Chmura. Previously, he co-led the kitchen at Grapes Weinbar with Lisa Schröder after meeting during their apprenticeships on Sylt.
