Genevieve Gergis is a pastry chef, co-owner, and interior designer of the Los Angeles restaurants Bestia (opened 2012), Bavel (opened 2018), and Saffy's (opened June 2022), collaborating with her husband Chef Ori Menashe and business partner Leah Bunch. A Southern California native and self-taught pastry chef, she met Ori while working as a hostess at La Terza and has contributed desserts and design to their Italian, Middle Eastern, and Persian-inspired establishments. Bavel was named best restaurant in Los Angeles in 2019.
