i. Biography
Jacques Seysses founded Domaine Dujac in Morey-Saint-Denis, Burgundy, in 1967-1968 by purchasing the struggling Domaine Marcel Graillet, which he renamed after himself, with the first vintage released in 1969. Prior to this, he apprenticed at Domaine de la Pousse d'Or under Gérard Potel during the 1966 and 1967 harvests after leaving the family biscuit business. He married Rosalind in 1973, and today the domaine is primarily managed by his sons Jeremy and Alec Seysses along with Jeremy's wife Diana, while Jacques remains involved.
