i. Biography
Junghyun Park is the executive chef and owner of Atomix and Atoboy in New York City, pioneering New Korean cuisine by blending traditional Korean techniques with Western fine dining methods. Born and raised in Seoul, South Korea, he studied Food Science at Kyung Hee University before working in kitchens like Cutler & Co. in Melbourne under Andrew McConnell and The Ledbury in London under Brett Graham, and serving as Chef de Cuisine at Jungsik in Tribeca. He opened Atoboy in 2016 and Atomix in 2018 with his wife Ellia Park; Atomix holds two Michelin stars, ranked #8 on World's 50 Best Restaurants in 2023, and #6 in 2024.
