Martin Klein, born in Alsace, France, served as Chef de Cuisine at Restaurant Ikarus in Salzburg from 2003 to 2012, where his skills contributed to the restaurant earning two Michelin stars under its unique monthly guest chef concept. After a stint on Laucala Island in the South Pacific, he returned in 2014 as Executive Chef at Red Bull Hangar-7, overseeing the Ikarus team that adapts to international guest chefs from around the world each month. Restaurant Ikarus, located at Hangar-7 in Salzburg, Austria, maintains its two Michelin stars under his leadership.
