Nancy Silverton is an American chef, baker, and restaurateur renowned for co-founding Pizzeria Mozza in Los Angeles in 2007 with Joseph Bastianich and Osteria Mozza next door, which earned its first Michelin star in 2009 and holds a green Michelin star for sustainable gastronomy. She previously founded La Brea Bakery in 1989 and co-owned Campanile restaurant, after serving as opening pastry chef at Wolfgang Puck's Spago in 1982. Silverton won the James Beard Foundation's Outstanding Chef Award in 2014 and was profiled on Netflix's Chef's Table in 2017.
