Oriol Castro is a Spanish chef born in Barcelona in 1974 who co-founded Disfrutar in Barcelona in 2014 alongside Eduard Xatruch and Mateu Casañas. He trained extensively at elBulli under Ferran Adrià from 1996 to 2011, where he became a key member of the creative team developing avant-garde culinary techniques. Disfrutar earned three Michelin stars and was named the World's Best Restaurant in 2024 by The World's 50 Best Restaurants.
