Rolf Fliegauf is a German chef born December 13, 1980, in Nördlingen who became one of Switzerland's most decorated culinary leaders. He joined Ecco Ascona in 2007 as head chef and earned the restaurant its first Michelin star within six months of opening; by 2011, at age 29, he became Europe's youngest two-star Michelin chef. He expanded his portfolio to include Ecco St. Moritz (awarded two stars in 2012) and later Ecco Zürich, collectively earning six Michelin stars across three establishments before departing in winter 2024.
