i. Biography
Sebastien Lepinoy is a French chef who took over as executive chef of Les Amis in Singapore in 2013, leading the restaurant to two Michelin stars in 2016 and three stars in 2019. Prior to this, he spent much of his career from 1993 to 2010 working with Joël Robuchon at various restaurants worldwide, including L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon in Hong Kong, which earned two Michelin stars in 2008 under his leadership, and Cépage in Hong Kong (2010-2013), which received one Michelin star in 2009. He began his career at age 15 in France at restaurants like La Côte Saint-Jacques and L'Auberge des Templiers before joining the Les Amis Group at Cépage in 2010.
