i. Biography
Thomas Duroux is the General Manager and CEO of Château Palmer in Margaux, Bordeaux, a position he has held since 2004. Born in Bordeaux in 1970 to a French father and Italian mother, he trained as an agricultural engineer and oenologist, bringing international experience from positions at Tokaj vineyards in Hungary, Tenuta dell'Ornellaia in Tuscany, and work with the Mondavi family. Since his arrival at Château Palmer, Duroux has transformed the estate into one of Bordeaux's most consistent producers by implementing biodynamic viticulture, cataloguing 106 separate vineyard parcels for independent vinification, and establishing the estate as Bordeaux's leading certified biodynamic producer.
