Tohru Nakamura is a German-Japanese chef and owner of Restaurant Tohru in der Schreiberei in Munich, Germany, which earned two Michelin stars in 2022. He previously served as Küchenchef at Werneckhof by Geisel from 2013 to 2020 and led the pop-up Salon Rouge by Tohru Nakamura from 2020 to 2021. Trained under mentors Joachim Wissler and Sergio Herman, Nakamura's cuisine blends French techniques with Japanese influences, emphasizing product diversity, sustainability, quality, and creativity.
