Walter Manzke

Walter Manzke is a Southern California native chef renowned for his fine dining career, starting under Joachim Splichal at Patina and advancing through stages at El Bulli and Alain Ducasse's Louis XV. He and his wife Margarita opened acclaimed restaurants including République in Los Angeles in 2013, Bicyclette in 2021, and Manzke in 2022, which earned a Michelin star in 2023. His career spans roles at Bastide, Church & State, and ventures in Carmel like Bouchée and L’Auberge Carmel.
