i. Biography
Yoann Conte, born in 1974 in Brest, France, trained under Marc Veyrat at Auberge de l’Eridan in 1993 and took over his restaurant in Veyrier-du-Lac as La Table de Yoann Conte (formerly Maison Bleue) in 2010, earning his first Michelin star in 2011 and a second in 2013. He blends influences from his Breton roots and Haute-Savoie upbringing, focusing on nature-inspired cuisine with local ingredients from his lakeside garden. In 2024, he was named Chef of the Year by Gault & Millau, following a 19/20 rating in 2021.
